📚 Mushroom History

First documented in traditional Chinese texts during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), but distinctly classified from other Ganoderma species in the 1990s. Its unique antler-like growth pattern made it particularly valued in traditional medicine. Modern cultivation techniques were developed in Taiwan during the early 2000s. Currently offered in liquid culture format, it's particularly valued for its rapid colonization compared to other Reishi species.
